From The Ashes is more than a radio show — it’s a conversation built for Veterans, first responders, families, and anyone fighting their way through life after trauma, transition, or hardship. Hosted by Rob Williams and broadcast through  About Face Media, the show creates a space where honest stories, hard truths, dark humor, and real healing can exist side by side. Each episode brings together Veterans, nonprofit leaders, advocates, entrepreneurs, and everyday people who have faced adversity and refused to stay down. Listeners can expect authentic conversations about military life, mental health, recovery, purpose, resilience, brotherhood, leadership, and rebuilding identity after service. The mission is simple: remind people they are not alone and prove that even after loss, failure, addiction, trauma, or struggle, it is possible to rise again. The show blends meaningful interviews with recurring segments that have become staples of the community, including Never Forgotten, honoring those we have lost; Ally Says Nope, bringing humor and perspective to everyday chaos; and Combat Carl’s Safety Brief, closing the show with laughter, reflection, and connection. What makes From The Ashes different is its authenticity. Nothing is scripted, polished, or corporate. The conversations are real, raw, and often deeply personal. One episode may leave listeners laughing uncontrollably, while the next may hit directly in the heart. Either way, the goal remains the same — build connection, strengthen community, and create a place where people feel seen, heard, and understood. Whether you served overseas, support someone who did, or simply believe in resilience and second chances, From The Ashes delivers stories that matter from people who have lived them.
