Tracy 2Step La Porte
Tracy 2Step is an on-air radio host, media personality, songwriter, and publisher operating at the intersection of music, media, and mission.
A Gold Star Mom, on-air broadcaster, and survivor, she leads a globally distributed broadcast platform under Boots ★ Stars ★ Guitars, delivering live radio, podcast, and multi-platform programming that reaches audiences worldwide.
Her platform is built across three distinct shows:
* Boots ★ Stars ★ Guitars — indie artist discovery, live music, and real radio opportunity
* The Beat & The Business — high-level industry access and behind-the-scenes insight into the business of music
* Inside The Wire — raw, real-life stories of service, survival, loss, and truth
Tracy’s voice comes from lived experience.
She grew up in environments shaped by addiction, instability, and crime, living through situations most people only hear about from the outside. She is also a cancer survivor and a Gold Star Mom, having lost her son, Sgt. Adam “2Step”, while serving in the United States Army.
Music became her therapy, her outlet, and her way forward.
Today, she is a BMI-affiliated songwriter and publishing executive, using music to create connection, healing, and real opportunity—especially for independent artists seeking access to radio and industry platforms.
She is also the founder of the Sgt. 2Step Foundation, supporting veterans, first responders, families of the fallen, foster youth, and underserved communities through music, storytelling, and direct impact.
Through radio, podcasting, and global distribution, Tracy 2Step has built more than a show—she has built a platform where artists get heard, stories get told, and real life isn’t filtered.
