Today on WVSJ Network Connects- Our host BriGette McCoy speaks with U.S. Army Veteran Elizabeth “Liz” Estabrooks about her military service, transition to the civilian sector and the considerable work on a national and international basis done on behalf of equity and justice. Currently Liz is the Women Veterans Coordinator with the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs, working and advocating for and on behalf of Oregon women. Elizabeth, #IAmNotInvisible project has Veteran’s Affairs support and has the interest of thousands of women veteran who are participating nationally. WVSJ Network was the organizing non profit and community liaison with the Atlanta VA-Decatur Clinic and hosted over 212 women veteran from all eras and backgrounds to participate.
