Ep 005 – College Football 2018 Week 6
On episode 5 of College Sports Hour, Clint McPherson and Greg Dixon talk about how the Top 25 fared over the weekend, who in the Top 25 took care of business, who in the Top 25 didn’t take care of business, how any of those upsets or losses impact their seasons moving forward, address any final thoughts we might have from Week 6, talk about the new Top 25 Rankings, highlight some important Week 7 matchups, and address who we have on Upset Alert heading into Week 7.
Week 6 of the 2018 college football season is in the books and this officially brings us to the halfway point of the regular season. College football fans all across the country were treated to a total of seven Top 25 upsets throughout the day. During all of the mayhem, five of those seven upsets were at the hands of unranked teams thanks to Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Utah, Northwestern, and Iowa State. On top of that, three of the seven upsets delivered Saturday saw previously unbeaten teams lose — No. 5 LSU, No. 7 Oklahoma and No. 13 Kentucky. With that said, only 11 undefeated FBS teams remain.
