Since a cycling accident that left her paralyzed, Tricia Downing has completed over 100 races, including marathons and triathlons. She was the first female paraplegic to complete an Ironman triathlon and qualified for the Hawaii Ironman World Championship twice. She is a member of the U.S. National Shooting Team and represented Team USA at the Rio Games in 2016. She is also a disability rights advocate, speaker, and author.
