Heroes Media Group Launches On-Line Heroes broadcast venue
(Washington, DC) – Heroes Media Group (www.heroesmediagroup.com) launches a new on-line broadcast venue to connect our nation’s heroes to their communities on Sat., Aug. 15, 2015. Heroes Media Group is leading the way toward giving those who routinely sacrifice for their country or community a voice through the power of internet broadcasting.
“Heroes Media Group [HMG] is a broadcasting platform dedicated to providing a voice for our community heroes and those who support them,” said Adam Bird, founder, and combat veteran. “The group is dedicated to providing education, entertainment and empowerment to service members, veterans, law enforcement professionals, firefighters, first responders, educators, medical professionals and clergy.”
HMG, the national voice for community Heroes will launch their network by broadcasting the Potomac National’s Military Appreciation Night game live starting at 5 p.m. on Sat. Aug. 15, 2015 in Woodbridge, Va.
To lead off their broadcast, Heroes Media will interview a former Marine and patriot, World Wrestling Entertainment legend, Sgt. Slaughter, who has supported our military since he first started wrestling in 1974. WWE legend, Sgt. Slaughter will be one of the first guests and then sign autographs and take photos with the fans while engaging the crowd throughout the evening of military family recognition!
Heroes Media will also host Student Veterans representatives as well as Bruce Benedict, Battlefield Resume owner and author. Lastly, Heroes Media will interview the Potomac National’s leadership to highlight their commitment to veterans as the leader in veteran-hiring in minor league baseball.
“The more we can support groups that support our heroes by giving them a voice across the country to outline how they care for our heroes, the more valuable Heroes Media Group is to our listening audience,” said Bird, a former Soldier. “There are so many organizations trying to take care of those who took care of them that this broadcast platform had to be created to get the message out, archive those messages and radios shows on the internet and bring listeners back for more.”
Bird is extremely proud of the Heroes Media Group show lineup, which includes: The Arms Room, Riot at the Arcade, The Decision Hour, Welcome to the South, Vets In Homes, Garage44, Military Press Wrestling, Tactical 16, The Fans Union Sports Show, Veterans Heritage Hour and The New American Veteran.
The Heroes Media Group mission is simple: To be the voice for all Community Heroes by bridging the gap between hero, citizen and the communities they protect, educate, and empower.
